ALOHA SUMMER

Week 1: June 13-17
Greet the summer with island fun! Participate in limbo, sand art, hula hoops, island treats, and a luau on Friday.


STAMP THE PASSPORT

Week 2: June 20-24
Have you ever been to Europe or South America? You’ll get a chance to experience different cultures and learn about foods, and games from around the world.


OOEY, GOOEY FUN

Week 3: June 27-July 1
If “messy” is your middle name, then this week is made just for you! Crazy challenges, wacky games, and icky, sticky, silly stuff that you create. Come dressed and prepared to have a blast while getting dirty.


ROADTRIP ACROSS AMERICA

Week 4: July 5-8
Enjoy a week of red, white, and blue. Each day we will visit, in spirit, a new state to celebrate the festivals that make the USA who we are! No camp on July 4th.


WILD, WILD WEST

Week 5: July 11-15
Yee haw! Come experience a dancing hoedown, gold rush games, and lassos. We’ll have a good ole time!


FUR, PAWS & CLAWS

Week 6: July 18-22
Campers will explore the animal kingdom through games, habitat crafts, and special hands-on activities.


UNDER THE SEA

Week 7: July 25-29
Dive into ocean discovery! Explore water, sea creatures, sand, and more through crafts, games, and science activities. And yes, there will be tons of water!


EVERY DAY’S A HOLIDAY!

Week 8: August 1-5
Whoever said that we can only celebrate a holiday one day a year? Join us as we learn about and celebrate various American holidays and holidays from around the world! Be ready for an egg hunt, costume party, and a lot more fun in the sun!


ROCK THE DECADES

Week 9: August 8-12
Take a trip through decades past! Enjoy music, play games, and make crafts from yesteryears.


HOMETOWN HEROES

Week 10: August 15-19
We’ve always secretly wanted to be a superhero! Whether it’s Spider-Man or our local police officers, heroes are what we dream of becoming. We’ll take a look at how everyday real-life heroes impact our communities and how we can support and be more like them!


PEACE OUT

Week 11: August 22-26
This week will be full of the activities that you LOVE as we say farewell to another amazing summer! Campers will be involved in helping to plan the schedule with their favorite activities. We’ll even do some tie-dying!

ART

Week 3:                 June 27-July 1

What makes an artist and what is art? Campers will learn a little art history while creating art in the style of famous artists from around the world.

CHEER

Week 5:                 July 11-15

It’s a week of age-appropriate instruction for your aspiring cheerleader, with a focus on YMCA character values. Cheers, dance steps, movement, and dance routines are taught during this camp. The week ends with a high-spirited performance.

DANCE

Week 8:                 August 1-5

Groove on over to learn unique contemporary, hip-hop, and ballet routines. Campers will even get a chance to perform for our huge crowd at camp. All abilities welcome.

FASHION

Week 7:                 July 25-29

Learn about fashion and all the work that goes into the process of designing clothes. Campers will design and release their own clothing line at the end of the week.

GOLF

Week 9:                 August 8-12

Designed for new golfers, campers will spend time perfecting their swing and short games. Campers will also learn the rules, etiquette, and history of the game. Clubs are required. *Weather Permitting – No Refunds.

Week 11:              August 22-26

Work with gymnastics coaches to learn new skills and perfect the ones you already have. Offered to gymnasts of all levels from beginner to advanced.

Lights! Camera! Action! Calling all camp actors to the stage. Campers will learn to tell a story through acting and stage play production. The week ends with a performance for camp families.

Get ready to mix up some fun this summer! Campers will create, experiment, and explore just like real scientists. Get ready, this could get messy!

No more mac ’n cheese and frozen pizzas. Our chefs will learn the basics of cooking, how to run a restaurant, create a recipe binder, and end the week with a camp wide cooking competition.

Week 2:                 June 20-24

This camp changes the way kids feel about exercise and fitness. Each day will consist of a cardio activity, strength training, and a healthy snack. Staff will introduce campers to a variety of different fitness activities.

BASEBALL

Week 1:                 June 13-17

Base running, batting, and pitching. Learn the fundamentals of the game while learning team concepts.  


BASKETBALL

Week 8:                 August 1-5

Stations, practices, games, and tournaments. Learn fundamentals and perfect your skills at all levels of the game in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. 


DODGEBALL

Week 7:                 July 25-29

Warm up those arms while playing different variations of team and solo play. It’s a week full of dodgeball!


FOOTBALL

Week 5:                 July 11-15

Learn skills on both sides of the ball, including passing, catching, and defensive positioning in a positive environment.


LACROSSE

Week 4:                 July 5-8

Now is your chance to learn the basic skills and rules for this rapidly growing, popular game.


SOCCER

Week 9:                 August 8-12 

Enjoy soccer skills, games, competitions, and, most of all, teamwork. Soccer cleats and shin guards are encouraged.


SWIM

Week 11:              August 22-26

Work on swim skills and development while learning new strokes, improving speed, diving, and flip turns. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards without assistance. 


TENNIS

Week 3:                 June 27-July 1

Campers get a chance to play tennis on different surfaces and in different locations, while learning to perfect their game. 


TRACK & FIELD

Week 6:                 July 18-22

Compete in a variety of events, from shot put to the 100-meter hurdles. We’ll end the week with a camp track meet.


VOLLEYBALL

Week 2:                 June 20-24

Learn every aspect of the game from setting to spiking. Play fun games and compete in matches against each other.


WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS

Week 10:              August 15-19

Does your child love all sports? This is the week for you! Campers will participate in a variety of sports and truly enjoy this unique camp for the entire week!

Extended Care

Is a free service and is available 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM every day at the Waukesha YMCA. 

Camper Drop Off & Pick Up

Drop off and pick up will be located behind the YMCA at Springs Park. For inclement weather, drop off and pick up will be located in the Y using the side door of the building.
