New and Enhanced Member Benefits

  •

There are new and exciting changes coming to your Y member benefits now, and more beginning in early 2017. These changes are a direct result of member feedback in the member survey taken this spring so we hope you enjoy them!

First, we launched three new family initiatives in fall 2016:

Y ClubY CLUB: We now offer a free, drop-in program for 8-12 year olds available twice a week. Each day will offer new, fun, interactive activities that are different with each visit and led by our dynamic staff. They will be a mix of  fitness activities, games, outside challenges, STEM activities and more. So if your child falls in the age range of too-old-for-Child Watch but not-quite-old-enough-for-Group Exercise, we've got you covered!

Family Fitness ClassesFAMILY FITNESS CLASSES: Each of our five branches now offer two Family Fitness classes. Geared toward kids over the age of 5 (or 6 for some classes) and their parents, these group exercise classes give your family a way to spend time together while still getting in a workout. Plus, many of these classes are preceded or followed by an adults-only fitness class which is more time for moms and dads to get in a great workout, both with kids and alone!

Friday Family NightFRIDAY FAMILY NIGHTS: The Y now offers Family Nights at least every other Friday night. Whether it's games in the gym, a movie outside, or a special guest, we hope your family will enjoy the Y together and with other families!

Secondly, we have some exciting changes beginning in January of next year:

Free Yoga and Pilates ClassesFREE YOGA AND PILATES: We heard you loud and clear: More free group exercise classes! Beginning January 1, 2017, BOTH Yoga and Pilates will be FREE at all of our locations. We will still continue to offer punch cards, however, they will only be needed for TRX, HIIT and small-group, specialty training classes. Beginning September 6, we will begin to offer a 10-class punch card rather than a 20-class punch card. This will give people the option to purchase enough punches through the end of this year and allow our small-group, specialty class users a more affordable option. Punches left after January 1, 2017 will not be refunded, but can be used on any of the fee-based classes that remain.

Group Exercise for Non-MembersGROUP EXERCISE OPTIONS FOR NON-MEMBERS: Beginning January 1, 2017, we will also allow non-members to purchase one-time group exercise class passes at the rate of $15/class.

Child Watch Fee ReductionCHILD WATCH FEE REDUCTION: Beginning January 1, we will be lowering our Child Watch fees from their current rates to $10/month for one child, and $15/month for 2+ children. This will serve as a significant savings to our current members and add a low-cost, safe, and fun option for new members.

As a valued member, we appreciate your feedback as we continue to grow and improve for you! For more details about any of these exciting changes, please check in-branch schedules and calendars, and stay tuned to our Facebook pages for even more information.
