Employee of the Month | March
YMCA OF GREATER WAUKESHA COUNTY
THANK YOU FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE
Monday, March 1, 2021
Each month, we are proud to recognize YMCA of the Greater Waukesha County employees who have exemplified outstanding service through their work, have demonstrated a positive and supportive attitude, and have served the Y’s mission in an exceptional manner. Read more this month’s staff below.
4K & Childcare Teacher
Angie is a beloved 4K Teacher at the Mukwonago Y, and she has proven to be very flexible and generous with her time by also helping with Extended Care and Summer Day Camp. In addition, she created a wrap-around-care program at Prairie View Elementary for 4K students from the ground up, establishing an amazing groundwork for this high-quality program.
In all her roles, Angie pours her heart and soul into creating truly engaging and educational experiences for her students. She is often seen working late at night, making sure that her classroom environment and activities are all set up just right. She is a positive soul who sees the best in each child, all while providing thoughtful and loving guidance.
Thank you for everything you do, Angie!
Camp & Y BASE Registrar
Jaimie has been with the YMCA for six years and in that time has worked as a Youth Sports Instructor, Member Services Specialist, and Y Connect staff. She is currently the Camp & Y BASE Registrar, handling registrations and billing for all Southwest Summer Day Camps, Early Learning, and School Age programming. She is an invaluable asset to our Business Services team, never hesitating help members and staff, and being the key person “behind the scenes” making sure everything is running smoothly for these programs.
Thank you for your continued dedication, Jaimie!
TRI COUNTY YMCA
Group Exercise Coordinator
Mary has served in many roles at the Tri County Y, including Greeter, Fitness Attendant, and Personal Trainer. Currently, her main roles and responsibilities are as Group Exercise Coordinator and as a Group Exercise instructor. Mary puts in many hours behind the scenes to choreograph a great class for her participants. She goes above and beyond because she truly cares about giving the members a great experience, whether it be in a group exercise class or with her personal training clients. We appreciate her organization, dedication, and leadership in our Group Fitness department.
Keep up the good work, Mary!
Gymnastics Instructor & Childcare Staff
Payton is approaching two years of employment at the Waukesha Y. In that time, she has become an invaluable member of the Gymnastics Department and continues to set herself apart by gaining responsibilities in our Y BASE and Extended Care programs.
Payton is a master multi-tasker! Along with her Gymnastics, Y BASE, and Extended Care hours, she is also a full-time student at Carroll University. Her intended major is Healthcare Administration with a minor in Management and Leadership.
We love Payton's creative thinking; she consistently comes up with new ideas and ways to engage the kids in her programs. Keep up the great work, Payton!
WEST SUBURBAN YMCA
Y BASE Site Supervisor
Morgan is a dedicated member of the West Suburban Y’s Camp & School Age department. She is an energetic Y BASE Site Supervisor, and it is truly a privilege to see her in action at Dixon Elementary School. Morgan has meaningful and positive relationships with the children who attend Y BASE, and her ability to encourage and support these children is inspiring!
Morgan is also in charge of planning School’s Out Fun Days at the West Suburban Y. She does a wonderful job planning games and activities children of all ages can enjoy. During the summer, Morgan displays her skills as one of our Summer Day Camp leadership staff and has made special bonds with many so many of our camp kids. The kids in our Camp and Y BASE program love seeing Ms. Morgan every day!
