Dear YMCA Family,
We have missed seeing our members, and now we get to say "Welcome Back"! The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is thrilled to announce that we are taking steps to reopen our facilities next week. We are so happy to welcome you back to the Y.
Our number one priority is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our staff and members. We are monitoring and working with our local and county government officials to ensure our YMCA is in compliance with regulations. Our staff leadership team has spent countless hours brainstorming numerous aspects of facility and program operations. We will follow CDC guidelines and have established best practices from Y's that have already opened in other states.
An extensive staff training and communication plan has been developed to provide our members with a high level of service and implement new protocol. A member guide will be available to keep members informed as well.
The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County association is in the unique position of having facilities in two different counties with two different sets of regulations:

All Waukesha County facilities will reopen on Wednesday, May 20.

Milwaukee County has a collective order that covers the 19 municipalities that comprise the county. As of today, the regulation will allow for reopening of Milwaukee County facilities on Friday, May 22.
