Stronger Together Challenge
WEEK 3 · BE CONNECTED
GOAL: Complete 3 activities that encourage you to connect with others.
There's no question that we're social creatures. Being socially connected is one of our basic human needs and socializing can even impact our overall health. Research shows that spending time with people and having strong connections can improve our happiness, strengthen our immune system, and increase our longevity.
When we're together -- virtually or in person -- we become stronger emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Which is why our coach for the week, Y member and volunteer Lew Hill, challenges you to create at least three moments of togetherness by connecting with others.
Ages 12 & up: FREE and open to the community.

Here are some ideas to help us connect with our friends, loved ones, and challenge teammates.
AT THE Y
Week 3 is the perfect time to connect with your accountability buddy! Call, text or message them to see how they're doing and offer some encouragement. Our Facebook groups are also a great way to share your moments of connection and lift each other up -- we're all in this together!
Keep your tracking calendar in a prominent place and use the goal center in the Y app to continue working on your fitness goals.
Apps & More
AIRTIME & TELEPARTY
If you miss movie night with friends, then download Airtime or Teleparty. The Airtime app lets you stream movies, listen to music, share photos, and chat with up to 10 people. Teleparty is perfect for sharing movie nights on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, or Disney Plus and can be added to your web browser.
Wish you could invite people over for a party? Spend time together on Houseparty instead! Download the app to your phone or computer so you can chat or play games with up to eight people.
MARCO POLO APP
Connect with the most important people in your life! Unlike other video apps, you don’t need to be live. Marco Polo works when you have a moment to talk, even if your schedules don’t match.
Please wait while we gather your results.
