GOAL: Complete 3 activities that encourage you to live in the present moment.
We spend so much of our time consumed by screens – phone, computer, tablet, watch, television; often times multiple screens at once. The constant beeps, dings, buzzes, and tweets are demanding our attention and pulling us away from the things that truly matter most. This week we challenge you to live in the present moment and focus on the people or activities that bring you joy.
Ages 12 & up: FREE and open to the community.

AT THE Y
Make mindfulness a habit by using cues to remind yourself to enjoy the present. For example, placing your tracking calendar in a prominent place serves as a visual cue of your plan for the week. Touch base with your accountability buddy, download our Y app, and join our Facebook Community Groups to receive helpful reminders throughout the challenge.
