The Y has always brought people together. We believe in meeting people where they are, so it's important that we give our members an array of opportunities and different ways to engage with the Y. Which is why we're pleased to announce a new member benefit -- YMCA360!
Launched publicly in January 2021 by the Greater Wichita YMCA, YMCA360 provides a seamless Y experience on mobile devices, TV, and web that's now included free with every YMCA of Greater Waukesha County membership.
“We are connecting our people, places, and programs in a whole new way and giving members the freedom to customize their health and fitness journey at our facilities as well as their own living rooms,” said Ronn McMahon, president and CEO of the Greater Wichita YMCA. “The quality and production behind YMCA360 is unparalleled, and it is something we are very proud to have created.”
With the development of YMCA360, the Greater Wichita YMCA is spearheading a new movement that is being adopted nationally, including right here in our own community.
“Even before the pandemic, we recognized the need for people to exercise or learn a new skill at their own pace and on their own schedule,” explained McMahon. “We met that goal and took it a step further, creating a platform that addresses healthy living from all angles. YMCA360 is unlike anything on the market today and it’s an unbelievable value add to memberships.”
YMCA360's broad catalog of on-demand content is available anytime, anywhere. Beyond group exercise classes, YMCA360 offers youth sports skills, culinary and visual arts, guided meditations, fitness drills, and more. New content will be added weekly and livestream classes are expected to debut later this spring.
Current members can access YMCA360 videos by logging in with your member barcode number and the email address tied to your membership account. If you're not a Y member and are interested in learning more about membership options, please contact the Membership Director at your local branch.
