Employee of the Month | December
YMCA OF GREATER WAUKESHA COUNTY
THANK YOU FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE
Tuesday, December 1, 2020
Each month, we are proud to recognize YMCA of the Greater Waukesha County employees who have exemplified outstanding service through their work, have demonstrated a positive and supportive attitude, and have served the Y’s mission in an exceptional manner. Read more this month’s staff below.
Jamie is a Building Supervisor and has been with the Y for almost two years. She does a great job keeping everyone safe and helping keep the facility clean. She has an infectious personality and always has a smile on her face. Keep up the great work, Jamie!
Group Exercise Instructor
Mary has been a Group Exercise Instructor at the Southwest YMCA since 2014. She is so reliable and always goes above and beyond to help out by learning and teaching different types of classes. When Mary is at the Y working out on her own time, she makes great connections with our members in and out of class. Her dedication to the Y and our community really shines. Thank you for all you do, Mary!
TRI COUNTY YMCA
Personal Trainer & Group Exercise Instructor
Katrina has been a Rockstar since she joined our team this past summer. She has been doing a great job keeping our facility clean for our members and getting to know most everyone who walks through our doors. Katrina wears a few different hats at the Tri County YMCA: personal trainer, group exercise instructor, and fitness attendant. Specifically in group exercise, she has taken on the challenge of learning a few different formats that she has never taught before. We appreciate her flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks!
The Waukesha YMCA is proud to highlight one of our dedicated preschool teachers. We have so much appreciation for Cammi and the important role she plays in our youngest members' development.
"During my teaching career of 26 years, I've worked with children from a variety of age levels and in many different settings. As a 3K Preschool Teacher at the Y, I'm able to combine two of my greatest passions: teaching 3-4 year olds while serving the community in which I live. As a teacher I have the privilege of being a positive influence in a child’s life and that is extremely rewarding for me. When I witness a child’s growth and excitement for learning, it brings me joy! I also feel that I, too, have grown as a teacher while working at the Y. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to be able to make a difference in children’s lives as part of an organization that values the importance of giving back to the people in their community."
WEST SUBURBAN YMCA
Rachael has been with the Y since 2016 and currently serves as an Audtior at the West Suburban YMCA. Throughout the last four years, she has worked hard in all the roles she has had and has become an incredible asset to our branch. She is knowledgeable about everything at our Y and is a great resource for everyone around her. She is always willing to help! Keep up the great work, Rachael!
