Each month, we are proud to recognize YMCA of the Greater Waukesha County employees who have exemplified outstanding service through their work, have demonstrated a positive and supportive attitude, and have served the Y’s mission in an exceptional manner. Read more this month’s staff below.
Justice has only been on staff with us for a short time as a Custodian. In that time, she has been recognized by several Directors on her overall work performance and friendliness towards staff and members. Justice takes pride in her work and does a wonderful job keeping our facility looking great! Thank you for all of your hard work, Justice!
Heidi is a very humble and dedicated member of our Business Team. She has been with the Y for over 25 years, working as a Group Exercise Instructor, Fitness/Membership Director, and currently as our full-time Auditor and Military Outreach point person at the Southwest YMCA. Heidi loves the Y and stands by our mission. When not at work, she spends time with her husband, Chad, and their son, Gabe, who is a freshman at UW-La Crosse. Heidi also likes to get in a good run - followed by a good glass of wine! Thank you, Heidi, for being a hard worker and a great co-worker!
Chris cares about the Y and is always happy to help when and where he can. He supports the Tri County YMCA in multiple departments by working in Membership, Fitness Center, and Youth Sports roles. The kids he coaches love him, and our members love how genuine and knowledgeable he is. We appreciate your willingness to help and your dedication to the Y, Chris!
Tori originally came to us from the Sheboygan County YMCA where she was a team gymnast and coach for many years. She began coaching at the Waukesha YMCA in 2016 when she relocated to our area to attend UW-Milwaukee. Tori is a recent Biomedical & Mechanical Engineering graduate and also works for Rockwell Automation. Currently, Tori leads the upper levels of our competitive gymnastics team and assists with the lower levels when possible. She is a go-to person in the gym, and is full of innovative ideas and sport knowledge. We are so lucky to have her!
Jennifer has been with us since 2016 and is a hard worker and great asset in her various roles at the West Suburban Y over the years. She is always willing to help those around her, and both members and co-workers appreciate her positivity and willingness to help every day! Her supervisor said, “As long as I have worked with Jen at West Suburban, she has always been an important piece of our puzzle. She is excellent in the Business Office and is a great resource for members.”
