Well-being and fitness at the Y goes beyond just working out -- we provide educational programs to promote healthy lifestyles and offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual, and spiritual strength.
Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. Join us October 10-16 as we stand together in support of the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program, which helps cancer survivors reclaim their health after a cancer diagnosis.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a free, 12-week research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors safely achieve their goals and begin their journey toward recovery. Just as important, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA encourages a warm spirit of community – a safe, comfortable place for you to build companionship and share inspiration with others affected by cancer.
Since 2016, the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County has impacted over 600 local cancer survivors through this free community program. Your support can help make a difference in the lives of those facing cancer as they seek to reclaim their health at the Y. Together, we can change lives.
