Send a Kid to Camp

JANUARY 30 - FEBRUARY 5

Just $40 will send a child to camp for one day and $200 for one week. One camp experience can positively change a child's life forever.

Your Gift’s Impact

Now, more than ever, kids need your charitable donations to help make camp experiences happen. When you give to the Y, 100% of your gift goes towards making a meaningful impact right in your community. Your gifts make a difference:

$200 | Allows a kid to attend a full week of camp.

$100 | Provides 3 weeks of camp swim lessons to a kid.

$50   | Allows a kid to go on 3 educational summer field trips.

$40   | Allows a kid to attend one day of camp.

$25   | Provides a month of healthy snacks for a kid.

Summer Day Camp experience is life-changing. The magic you create starts with camp, but the youth and families you impact will carry this experience with them forever. Last summer, hundreds of kids had the opportunity to attend a YMCA of Greater Waukesha County Summer Day Camp. However, some kids in our community will only have the chance to go to camp with the gift of financial assistance. We're excited to help even more kids have the experience of a lifetime this year, and we need your help!

Our Send a Kid to Camp Campaign is a community effort to raise funds to support families needing financial assistance for their children to attend camp. Please consider the difference you can make. Your impact is forever present in the smiles of the kids you help send to camp.

What Parents Have To Say About Camp

Help "Build the Campfire"

Stop by your local branch and donate to the Send a Kid to Camp Campaign. For gifts of $1.00 or more, your name will appear on a flame cut-out as part of our "Build the Campfire" wall, along with other generous donors. At the end of the campaign, we'll draw a name from the flames to win a prize! As donations spark flames and the community's impact grows, our campfire will continue to get bigger.

What's a campfire without s'mores and marshmallows? Write your favorite camp memory on a marshmallow cut-out and add it to the campfire.
