BRING YOUR FITNESS TO A WHOLE NEW LEVELOur Small Group Training Series combines the energy and inspiration of group exercise with the individualized attention of personal training. Small class size (4-8 participants per class) ensures that our personal trainers can provide a customized workout. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, tone up, run a 5K or just feel better about yourself, small group training will help you drive results.

LIFT & FLEX

Push your limits! Increase your power and enhance your overall physique as you build muscle mass by lifting weights. Master safe form and learn how to integrate weight training into your workout regime. You’ll leave class feeling challenged, pumped up, and ready for more!


REACH & RELAX

Endless benefits for your brain and body! Become fierce and flexible as you develop core strength through a combination of techniques. Practice yoga and Pilates-inspired moves to help promote proper posture, reduce aches and pains, and put you in a positive state of mind. 


SCULPT & BUILD

Strong women unite! Resistance training is a great way to tone and build lean muscle without becoming bulky. Grow stronger and more resilient as you learn proper weightlifting techniques in a supportive environment. Geared to all levels of fitness.


TONE & TRANSFORM

Burn calories and build strength! Whether you’re looking to lose 5 lbs. or 50 lbs., gain strategies that get results -- exercise, nutrition, accountability, and motivation. We’ll focus on a combination of cardio workouts and weightlifting to help you achieve your weight loss goals. Nutritiion counseling included.


TREAD & SHRED

Preparing for your first 5K? Trying to shave minutes off your marathon? Step up the pace with cardio interval training! Find your stride, increase your speed, and build stamina on and off the treadmill by utilizing rounds of sprints, hill climbs, and sport-specific strength and agility training.

  Active Older Adults

BALANCE & MOBILITY

It’s a matter of balance! Make everyday activities easier with a combination of traditional and functional exercises. With the support of a personal trainer, you’ll pick up skills and techniques to help increase your flexibility, extend your range of motion, and improve your posture. All levels of fitness welcome.


PWR! MOVES®

Feel the power of movement! Work closely with a certified PWR! Moves instructor to learn the building blocks of FUNction. By practicing four basic moves, you’ll target multiple symptoms that interfere with your everyday movements and mobility. We’ll supplement these evidence-based patterns with brain exercises to help boost your memory and executive functions.


STRENGTH & STABILITY

It’s never too late to feel great! Increase muscular strength and improve your coordination under the guidance of a personal trainer. The low impact workout will train your muscles to perform daily activities safely and efficiently, helping you avoid injuries and maintain your health. All fitness levels welcome.

  InBody Testing

Be informed!  InBody testing provides a quick and easy, non-invasive body analysis that provides essential data for any weight loss and fitness program.

After your quick analysis of body composition, you will receive a print out of your measurements including:

  • Body fat mass
  • Body mass index
  • Dry lean mass
  • Basal metabolic rate
  • Lean body mass
  • Segmental lean-analysis
  • Total body water
  • Skeletal muscle mass 
  • Total weight

For most accurate results, avoid:

  • Exercising 6 hours prior
  • Eating 2-3 hours prior
  • Consuming alchohol or caffeine 24 hours prior
  • Using a hot shower or sauna before testing

Prior to testing, please:

  • Hydrate well
  • Use the bathroom
  • Remove socks, heavy clothing such as jackets, metal objects 

Ages 16 & up: $10/Member, $20/Program Participant.  Includes body composition analysis, print out, and consultation.

  HIIT Zone | WEST SUBURBAN YMCA

Meet your specific fitness goals with added support and motivation from a workout buddy in our HIIT Zone at West Suburban YMCA.  You and a friend work together with a certified personal trainer to develop an exercise plan.

45 MINUTE SESSIONS

Take advantage of the HIIT Zone at a drop-in rate or save by purchasing packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions.
