Take steps towards better health! Walking is a great way to exercise and can be done almost anywhere -- in a chair, in your home, outdoors or at the Y. Our 6-week challenge includes weekly 30-minute informational sessions online, an outdoor walking club with Y staff, and a calendar of daily exercises and activities to keep you motivated. In addition, you’ll learn how to determine your target heart rate zone by using a FREE Heart Rate Calculation, as well as how to set and track goals using the Goal Center in our Y app (available for iOS and Android devices).
We’ll meet weekly online using Zoom, so you can participate, interact, and ask our staff questions from the comfort of home. An invitation link and challenge content will be emailed before class.
