YMCA OF GREATER WAUKESHA COUNTY
FOR A BETTER US
Friday, May 1, 2020
Dear YMCA Family,
I continue to pray for the health and safety of our front line workers as they work to keep us healthy and our communities safe.
Last week, I introduced our Y’s three phase plan to Re-Open, Re-Engage, Re-Imagine. Through discussions with federal, state, and local government officials, we know we will re-open parts of our facilities, programs, and services in phases. As we eagerly await the Governor’s green light to open our doors, we want to update you on how we are preparing to welcome you back.
- We have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected our facilities and equipment -- your health and safety is our top priority.
- We are creating schedules and operating plans to re-engage with our members and summer day campers.
- We are re-imagining ways of bringing back your favorite YMCA experiences through new and improved member interactions and program delivery.
Once we have updated guidelines from our government officials, we will be sure to communicate a reopening timeline and safety measures within our branches.
I hope you are able to enjoy the weather this weekend, and can be active doing something positive in spirit, mind, and body. We look forward to safely welcoming you back to the Y soon.
