DESCRIPTION:Summer Day Camp swim lessons will be offered for campers. These 30 minute lessons are a convenient way to help your child become more confident in the water. Lessons will take place before or after Camp during extended care time\, and may vary based on age group and location. You can purchase a week of Swim Lessons just like you would purchase a week of Camp. Each week of Swim Lessons will have four\, 30 minute swim lessons (one lesson each day\, Monday-Thursday). DESCRIPTION:Youth Swim League is a program for kids who enjoy swimming\, want to explore the sport of competitive swimming\, and hope to improve their technical swimming abilities. Our group will have the opportunity to swim in scheduled meets with other local YMCAs. Meet dates are TBA. Meet times TBA. YMCA staff and volunteers coach our league in skill improvement\, while leading them in character development using the YMCA’s core values. All athletes receive a league swim cap. To enroll in the league\, participants must have completed Stage 4 or have the equivalent swim skills. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl with rotary breathing\, 25 yards back crawl\, 15 yards of breaststroke kick\, and 15 yards of butterfly kick.
