SUMMARY:Beginning Ballet (6-10)
DESCRIPTION:This class will focus on basic ballet concepts\, vocabulary\, and etiquette\, while also encouraging creativity\, musicality\, and coordination for school-age children.  Students will work on introductory steps\, body alignment\, etiquette and basic ballet vocabulary.  A significant portion of the class is spent at the barre\, focusing on exercises that build strength\, flexibility\, and proper alignment.

DESCRIPTION:Combining both the techniques of jazz dance with the element of Poms.  Movement and combinations focus on rhythm and footwork\, such as kicks\, jumps and turns accompanied by expressive and stylistic arms with pom poms in hand.
