DESCRIPTION:Youth Swim League is a program for kids who enjoy swimming\, want to explore the sport of competitive swimming\, and hope to improve their technical swimming abilities. Our group will have the opportunity to swim in scheduled meets with other local YMCAs. Meet dates are TBA. Meet times TBA. YMCA staff and volunteers coach our league in skill improvement\, while leading them in character development using the YMCA’s core values. All athletes receive a league swim cap. To enroll in the league\, participants must have completed Stage 4 or have the equivalent swim skills. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl with rotary breathing\, 25 yards back crawl\, 15 yards of breaststroke kick\, and 15 yards of butterfly kick.

YMCA staff and volunteers coach our league in skill improvement\, while leading them in character development using the YMCA’s core values. All athletes receive a league swim cap. To enroll in the league\, participants must have completed Stage 4 or have the equivalent swim skills. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl with rotary breathing\, 25 yards back crawl\, 15 yards of breaststroke kick\, and 15 yards of butterfly kick.
