Learn the rules and basics of pickleball including serving, and volleying. Participants can expect to participate in drills and play against their peers. We recommend wearing basketball shoes, or athletic tennis shoes. Pickleball equipment will be provided by the YMCA, but participants may bring their own paddle. This course will take place indoors.
This program focuses on the athlete?s speed and agility and will incorporate the essentials of speed training. The program is geared toward athletes who want to improve their sports performance with drills that will help with speed and agility while helping increase stamina and endurance.
Get ready to save the day—together! This playful class lets kids explore basketball basics side by side with a fun superhero twist. Through music, movement, and imaginative games, families will bond while building coordination and introducing their child to the joy of sports. Capes are welcome but not required!
