Hanna is passionate about supporting others on their journey toward improved health and well-being. She believes that everyone deserves to live a healthy, vibrant life. Hanna graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education and Spanish, and a minor in Nutrition. She is currently working toward her certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. As the Healthy Living Director for the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County, Hanna oversees the association’s work in delivering evidence-based health interventions and championing healthy living initiatives. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), ACE Weight Management Specialist, Diabetes Prevention Program lifestyle coach, YMCA’s Weight Loss Program facilitator, and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA instructor.
Hanna finds true joy in the kitchen where she likes to experiment with healthy recipes and share them with family and friends. She enjoys teaching others how to prepare wholesome foods and offering them the opportunity to experience how delicious they are.
Kate is a registered dietitian for the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County. She has her bachelor’s degree in public health from Carroll University and completed her dietetic internship at Mount Mary University to become a dietitian. In addition to the Y, Kate is a clinical dietitian working with the inpatient population.
Kate believes in whole foods, simplicity, and balance. In the kitchen, she believes that healthy does not mean boring. She enjoys a good 5-ingredient or less recipe and is always trying to find ways to eat avocado with everything. In addition to food, she loves staying active through running or walking, hitting the beach with a good book, and spending time with friends and family.
