Well-being and fitness at the Y goes beyond just working out -- we provide educational programs to promote healthy lifestyles and offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual, and spiritual strength.
The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County plays such an important role as a safe, caring place for youth, adults, families, and seniors. Many people in our community rely on financial assistance to participate in the programs of the YMCA and create memorable stories of their own. Now, more than ever, we need your charitable donations to help make that happen. When you give to the YMCA's Annual Support Campaign, 100% of your gift goes toward making a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own community. Gifts can be made online or mailed to your local Y.

The Bob Lombardi Youth Scholarship Fund offers a deserving youth an annual scholarship to the Waukesha YMCA in memory of Bob Lombardi. Bob lived by the Y mission of developing a healthy spirit, mind and body every day.
Bob was born and raised in Waukesha, graduating from Waukesha High School in 1954. As a young boy, he was given a youth membership while his family faced financial struggles. Bob credits then YMCA Executive Director, Earl Lockman and the Y for the help and guidance he received while he was a youth. Through his early connection to the YMCA, Bob volunteered throughout his 80+ years of membership. He participated in Indian Guides with his three sons: David, Greg and Jim. Bob also helped coach Y programs in baseball, basketball and elementary swim competitions.
Investing in Y memberships for his family members had always been a priority for Bob, and he considered it a special opportunity to donate to the Annual Support Campaign, Youth Membership Fund each year.
