This class will focus on basic ballet concepts, vocabulary, and etiquette, while also encouraging creativity, musicality, and coordination for school-age children.  Students will work on introductory steps, body alignment, etiquette and basic ballet vocabulary.  A significant portion of the class is spent at the barre, focusing on exercises that build strength, flexibility, and proper alignment. 

Combining both the techniques of jazz dance with the element of Poms. Movement and combinations focus on rhythm and footwork, such as kicks, jumps and turns accompanied by expressive and stylistic arms with pom poms in hand.

A combination gymnastics and fundamental dance skills through multiple genres.

Must have completed 2 sessions of Beginning Jazz/Poms or prior teacher authorization. Continuation of Beginning Jazz/Poms. Jazz based combination work with more complex rhythmed footwork with poms.

Explore the techniques and fundamental styles of jazz. Build confidence as you engage in movement and expression with steps and combinations focusing on rhythm and footwork.

Learn proper dance techniques such as isolations of the body and complex rhythms and patterns.
