Youth Weightlifting Foundations

The Youth Weightlifting Foundations Program is an 6-week introductory strength training program designed for youth ages 12?15. The program focuses on teaching proper movement patterns, safe lifting techniques, and age-appropriate strength development in a supportive and supervised YMCA environment.  This program emphasizes confidence, coordination, injury prevention, and lifelong fitness habits, rather than heavy lifting or competition.
