The Youth Weightlifting Foundations Program is an 8-week introductory strength training program designed for youth ages 12?15. The program focuses on teaching proper movement patterns, safe lifting techniques, and age-appropriate strength development in a supportive and supervised YMCA environment.  This program emphasizes confidence, coordination, injury prevention, and lifelong fitness habits, rather than heavy lifting or competition.

Learn the rules and basics of pickleball including serving, and volleying. Participants can expect to participate in drills and play against their peers. We recommend wearing basketball shoes, or athletic tennis shoes. Pickleball equipment will be provided by the YMCA, but participants may bring their own paddle. This course will take place indoors.
