Beginning Ballet (6-10)
This class will focus on basic ballet concepts, vocabulary, and etiquette, while also encouraging creativity, musicality, and coordination for school-age children. Students will work on introductory steps, body alignment, etiquette and basic ballet vocabulary. A significant portion of the class is spent at the barre, focusing on exercises that build strength, flexibility, and proper alignment.Â

Speed & Agility (12-18)
This program focuses on the athlete’s speed and agility and will incorporate the essentials of speed training. The program is geared toward athletes who want to improve their sports performance with drills that will help with speed and agility while helping increase stamina and endurance.

Work on the mental & physical challenges of Cross Country running. Our group will have two competitions versus other athletes from around the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County. Meet events will be announced on the first day of practice.

Speed & Agility (12-18)
This program focuses on the athlete’s speed and agility and will incorporate the essentials of speed training. The program is geared toward athletes who want to improve their sports performance with drills that will help with speed and agility while helping increase stamina and endurance.
Teen Swim Lessons (11-15)
"This group swim lesson provides a comfortable environment for teens to learn to swim by encouraging them to set personal goals and achieve them. A certified instructor will work with each participant's current skill level and help them improve. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 11-15 years."

Parent & Child Swim Stage A (0-3)
"Water Discovery: introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration and encourages them to enjoy themselves while learning about the water. Ages 6 months to 3 years."
Preschool Stage 1 W/ Parent (2-4)
"Water Acclimation: For the child not quite ready to swim without the parent. Transition between parent and instructor throughout first half of session. Focus is on learning to listen to an instructor, becoming comfortable in the water, and safely exploring movement in the water. Ages 2.5-4 years."
School Age Swim Stage 5 (6-12)
"Stroke Development: Children entering this level should be able to swim 15 yards of front and back crawl. Students work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive strokes. Emphasis on water safety continues through treading water and sidestroke. Ages 6-12 years."
School Age Swim Stage 3 (6-12)
"Water Stamina: Children entering this level should be able to front and back float independently. Students learn to swim to safety from a longer distance. They are introduced to rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action. Ages 6-12 years."

Gymnastics 1 (7-14)
No previous gymnastics experience required. Introduction to basic gymnastics skills. May have to repeat at this level more than once before moving to Gymnastics 2-3.
