EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS

Right now, as children are being forced to stay home, they are missing out on what every child deserves -- time each day to belong, achieve, and build relationships. This year, children will need the YMCA’s Summer Day Camp more than ever. The Y has every intention of running our various camps this summer to provide a safe place and meaningful experience for children to spend their summer.

Be assured that the Y is planning Summer Day Camp with the utmost concern for the health and safety of our day campers and staff. The Department of Children and Families has been guiding our program plans through this pandemic and will continue to do so throughout the summer. They have put in extensive measures for social distancing, disinfecting, and health and safety procedures that we will continue if needed throughout the summer.

Outdoor exploration awaits at Camp Double Eagle, located on over 30 acres in the southern unit of beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest. Amenities includes an outdoor swimming pool, bath and shower facilities, basketball court, climbing wall, archery range, craft lodge, and an open-air shelter. Campers will hike to Paradise Springs to discover nature as a part of their outdoor adventure and take field trips to Ottawa Lake throughout the summer for water activities, fishing, and picnicking.
