BASE RIDE | LEVEL 2-3
Build an aerobic base in this cycling class. Improve your cardiovascular fitness with a moderate intensity, sub-threshold (Zone 4 and below) ride with occasional increases to Zone 5.
BOOMER BOOT CAMP | LEVEL 3
Regular boot camp classes too intense for you? We have an alternative low impact fitness class designed to challenge the body to maintain independence and function. Ideal for ages 50+ or for those interested in a more moderate workout. Training areas: cardio, balance, strength, and agility. Challenging but safe activities addressing a variety of abilities in a fun and social atmosphere.
CARDIO SCULPT | LEVEL 2-3
A low to medium impact class that includes cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility, and core work. Equipment may include resistance bands or free weights and body weight exercises are often used to increase functional strength.
LINE DANCING | ALL LEVELS
A fun beginner to intermediate class that will enhance your balance and coordination while making new friends. A variety of music will be featured.
SENIOR STRETCH & STRENGTH | LEVEL 2
Use a variety of equipment to increase range of motion, strength, flexibility, and balance. Excellent for those looking for a more advanced workout.
TAI CHI FOUNDATIONS | LEVEL 1
An adaptable and accessible program suitable for individuals with a wide range of abilities. Class allows participants to learn tai chi in standing with optional side support, standing with a walker or in a seated position. Participants will learn tai chi basic moves, a Yang Style tai chi short form, and develop mind/body skills training.
TAI CHI FOUNDATIONS | LEVEL 2
A continuation of our Level 1 program that is suitable for individuals with a wide range of abilities. Class is conducted in a standing position though optional side support is available. Participants will learn tai chi basic moves, a Yang Style tai chi short form, and develop mind/body skills training.
ZUMBA® GOLD | LEVEL 2-3
All the fun of Zumba® but taught at a slower pace and lower impact level. Suitable for beginners and active older adults.

AOA WATER VOLLEYBALL | ALL LEVELS
Participants follow the general rules of volleyball in the pool. Recreational play.
AQUA YOGA | ALL LEVELS
A low-impact class for all ages, fitness levels, and abilities, Aqua Yoga is an ideal way to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion. As a result of the buoyant effects of the water on the body, the muscles are able to relax and can be stretched and strengthened with reduced incidence of injury.
AQUA ZUMBA® | ALL LEVELS
A safe, challenging, Latin dance based workout that incorporates cardio conditioning and body toning in the shallow
water. Exercises are medium impact and great for beginners or intermediate exercisers.
DEEP WATER EXERCISE | LEVEL 2-3
Put on a flotation belt and head to the deep end of the pool for a powerful workout that will improve your posture, strength and cardiovascular endurance. This non-impact exercise is a perfect alternative for individuals with knee or back problems or those looking for a break from running or high impact activities.
GENTLE WATER EXERCISE | LEVEL 1
A low level of resistance to improve muscular strength, endurance and maintain or improve flexibility. Ideal for those with MS, fibromyalgia, arthritis or other special needs.
JOINT EFFORTS | LEVEL 1
The Y is proud to offer this low impact exercise program designed for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS and related conditions. The water provides gentle resistance to build muscle strength and support joints to encourage free movement. Participants should be comfortable in the water but do not need to have swimming skills. Please check with your physician before beginning this program.

Designed to help adults of all ages maintain an active lifestyle, classes incorporate traditional gym activities with a group warm-up and exercise stations. Fun and functional exercises include dancing, boxing, and Nordic pole walking, as well as high intensity cardio intervals (fit to your safety level), functional strengthening, agility, and multidirectional movements, waking drills, active stretching, and functional floor mobility exercise.
PARKINSON'S FITNESS CLASS | Waukesha YMCA
An exercise group geared towards individuals with Parkinson's Disease (PD). These exercise sessions are designed and led by a physical therapist who has experience working with individuals with PD.
PARKINSON'S DANCE CLASS | West Suburban YMCA
The class brings the art of dance to people living with Parkinson's disease. Class format includes warming up using a chair, center and balance work, standing and moving across the floor while incorporating dance steps from different dance forms. Dancing is shown to help people with PD improve their ability to walk and enhances their quality of life.
